Located in a prominent position on the A56 in Altrincham, Hartington Road was our first contemporary apartment block scheme and a good example of our ability to build modern homes that stand out from the crowd. We subsequently transformed a derelict brownfield site into a distinctive apartment block scheme designed to appeal to style-conscious professionals and commuters.

Consisting of 42 dwellings, the site included 36 two-bedroom apartments and six one-bedroom apartments, in two three-storey timber framed apartment blocks. We initially secured the site through a conditional contract arrangement with the landowner, subject to planning, and secured full planning permission on 23rd August 2017.

Contemporary 1 to 3 bed apartments
The site was then acquired and sold on to Southway Housing Group on 6th October 2017, in the usual same day arrangement. We signed a JCT Design and Build contract at the same time.
