Located in the middle of a busy urban area, this former social club, with its own bowling green, had long fallen into disrepair, due to vandalism and neglect. It had subsequently been demolished and despite the growing need for affordable homes in the local area, the land lay vacant.
The new scheme of 44 homes transformed the fortunes of the area, by turning an eyesore into a fresh new development of two and three-bedroom bungalows and two-storey town houses.

We originally acquired the site from the Lancaster RC Diocese Trustees and worked alongside Chorley Community Homes to breathe new life into the site and surrounding area. Once complete, the scheme will be affordable rented tenure, providing much-needed housing to local people.
