Development of 16 homes (5 x 3 bedroom homes and 11 x 2 bedroom homes). All of the properties are to be built to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3. The new homes will be available for rent and will be constructed to Homes and Communities Agency standards.
The site has been assembled following detailed negotiations with two separate land vendors. The leasehold interest was acquired from Punch Taverns and the freehold being purchased from Leeds City Council. Detailed discussions occurred with both which will enable the transformation of this vacant and disused former public house. When complete the homes will have a value of over £1.7m, which is a significant investment and will provide much needed affordable accommodation for the area.
