DESCRIPTION

MCI are delighted to have commenced works on the redundant and overgrown waste land off Poolstock in Wigan. The development proposals consist of 63 new affordable homes and one new 4 bedroomed vicarage. The homes offer a wide range of accommodation. 2 and 3 bedroomed properties (apartments and houses) will be available to rent via our partner Adactus Housing.

Both Adactus and MCI are local Wigan based companies and are pleased to be in partnership again.

The waste land has been fire damaged over the years and the scheme will provide many benefits. Local football club Wigan Rovers will be provided with a purpose built car park, along with ball netting and a dedicated power supply.

COMMENT

“We are delighted to have started work on this project with Adactus and the Diocese of Liverpool. Both are very valued clients and this prominent scheme will cement our relations with both. The site is extremely challenging  in respect of its technical attributes. The progression to site commencement is testament to our in house team who will ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. When finished the housing will be an asset for generations to come.”
