Brunswick Street, Liverpool

DESCRIPTION

New homes are being built on the former Bankfield House. The former training center was demolished following fire over 4 years ago. Planning permission was granted within 4 weeks of submission in order to meet the timescales of the Homes and Communities Agency. The development plans a wide array of properties with flats, houses and bungalows being built.

The bungalows have specifically being designed for disabled users and will be a true asset to the housing stock of LHT and Garston. The scheme is being part funded by the HCA and is built to the highest energy standards. 19 properties are planned in total.

COMMENT

“This is our third scheme that we have developed in partnership with LHT within the last 2 years. We have a very good relationship with LHT and have further schemes in the pipeline which are due to commence in 2014. The rapid turnaround in obtaining a planning permission just shows how capable and able the team at MCI is.”
