This is a development of 84 new apartments and houses at a brownfield site (which has been derelict and vacant for over 10 years). MCI acquired the site via leading Manchester property agents Jones Lang Laselle. The redevelopment of this contaminated land was fully supported by local residents and Congleton Town Council.
MCI are working with Riverside Housing Group who have obtained funding from the Homes and Communities Agency for the project. There will be an even mix of rented and shared ownership homes. It’s the fifth scheme that has borough together MCI and Riverside which is a testament to the good working relationship the teams have.
Site remediation commenced in March 2016, and the new homes will be entirely built within two years. For more information please contact MCI on; partnerships@mcidevelopments.
